Well first round was close, second I thought that
Kyshenko was more active, the third was Andys round
since Kyshenko was so out of gas. The fourth was
also close but Andy did more and had better
accturiatity and stammina.

I feel the same 1st draw, 2nd Artur, 3rd Andy.
Duing the extra round many people didn't notice
Souwer threw a beautiful high kick and Artur ate
it! he was clearly staggered, rocked what ever you
want to call it. Artur being a very very tough guy
was able to keep his composure and fight back.
Souwer fought well too, such a close fight but Andy
100% edged it out in the extra round IMO.

Do u think there was any excess of confidence on
the part of Kyshenko while preparing for this
fight?

Guess Souwer´s hard work out routine made a
difference here. Big congratulations to Souwer!!

Kyshenko seems to have forgotten his cardio
work-out. He was already too slow in the second
round.

i guess Kyschenko just really wanted to do his
best, everryone expected him to do so, I guess the
nervousness could be the cause of him burning out
so soon

Although I love the style of Kyshenko, we have to
give more credit to Souwer here. It's not that
Kyshenko gassed out that much, he just slowed down
a little, that seems normal to me .... but Souwer
kept on going like a machine. Great fight. And very close.

I loved the Kyshenko V. Souwer fight but was
disapointed with the result. As usual, Kyshenko
came out of the tunnel looking stronger than the
last time, but Souwer had the better battle plan.
Kyshenko just tried to slug it out with him. Souwer
has too much experience to just out and out box
with. Kyshenko really should have saved his energy,
played a slower game and done a better job of
drawing Souwer into his attacks. I really had
Kyshenko picked to win this one but I guess the
pressure got to him.As big of a fan as I am of Kyshenko, it was really depressing to see just how far the new generation of K1 fighters has to go before any of them will be champions. They need to remember that this is K1 which is a kickboxing tournement and not HBO Boxing after dark. None of the K1 fighters seem to have any KO power with kicks so they all just give up and resort to using their hands.

i don't fully agree on that, i think they have
knockout power in there kicks but with highkicks
you are all open for counter attacks. but i agree
that fighters like kraus ain't really
kickboxing and that's a shame. iam a big fan of
souwer because he has awesome punch-kick
combo's, same go's for kyshenko tho so
i'm sorry one of them had to go right now.

kyshenko s plan was totally stupid.cuz its
something soo obvious that souwer is a slow
starter.and its also freaking hard to knock out
this guy.so,what the hell he burned his all gas to
knock him out in the first round??and when he
realized that its not happening,it was too late to
return the fight.i like kyshenko s style also but it was a totally stupid plan and obviously didnt work.and congratulations to souwer,he is the best so far..

I thought Souwer did win by the third round, but a
draw was also easy to understand. In the 4th round
he clearly scored more. He was less gassed than
Kyshenko and kept on coming. The techniques of
Kyshenko were not as sharp anymore. Too bad that
Kyshenko is out of the tournament now. I like to
see him fight.

If Kyshenko would have done more in 3rd round there
would have been no way not to anounce him as the
winner....but as he was out of gas at the end it
was alright to give the fight to souwer!

i liked the fight, it really was a great battle. i
dissagree with some guys on the internet and other
forums that the extension round was not necessary.
i think it was. even that kyshenko seemed to gas
out a bit. extension round was needed. actually i
hoped for kyshenko but i knew that souwer will take
the win. he's experienced, tough as nails and
really has a great stamnia. if i remember right,
kyshenko ate a few really hard blows in the first,
i guess that's one of the reasons he "gassed"
out. i wish i had half of his stamnia
;-)great fight, fair and square.
