Schilt vs Hunt - I felt Mark wouldn't make it but... I didn't expect that it would end in the first round. A slight disappointment for me. It seems it will be another boring year of absolutely undisputed Schilt's reign... damn!

Hari vs Sefo - no suprise here as well, but I was shocked how easily Sefo was overwhelmed... Badr's future looks bright, unlike Ray's. I wonder is it a beginning of an impending end of his great K-1 carrier (4th defeat in a row, 3rd by KO/TKO)?

Musashi vs Sawayashiki - I thought it would be a win by decision in favour of Sawayashiki. So I'm a little bit confused now. Is it Musashi coming back to good form or is it Junichi so weak at the moment?

Feitosa vs Roberts - impressive performance by the Brazilian, maybe his opponent wasn't the hardest he had ever faced but still excellent victory. Glaube's kicks are really wicked! Now I'm looking forward to Feitosa vs Hari - how about that?

Enokida vs Tachikawa - I will leave that without a comment LOL

Noda vs Vondracek - I hadn't expected that but it was really exciting fight IMO. By the way Vondracek seemed to be quite overweight, didn't he? And I will watch out for this Noda I think now he deserves a shot against some better opponent.

I haven't seen Teixeira vs Fujimoto yet, but I'm really glad Brazilian won. As I'd said in the other thread before, K-1 needs new talents. He is Kyokushin world champion. Who knows - maybe he will follow the footsteps of Filho and Feitosa?

And what do you think?

Well Chrzan_ko, I agree with you on everything you said ....

Schilt vs Hunt - I can´t help but to have great respect for Schilt. I don´t like his game, but he´s the undisputed champ!

Hari vs Sefo - I´m impressed by Hari. Maybe this arrogant SOB is really as good as he thinks he is:). I´m sorry to say that Sefo should retire ...

Musashi is still going strong.

Feitosa - I agree with Chrzan totally

Am i the only one that thinks that Enokida vs Tachikawa was the best fight at this event?? lol just kidding, really scary preformence and one of the worst K-1 fights ever, if not even the worst........

Any way, i tend to agree with you Chrzan, Hunt made a rather weak impression, but then, most fighters do against the Schilt...

Hari vs Sefo,,, well its sad to say but i think its time for Sefo to take of the gloves and start a new carieer as a trainer or camp manager or something, he is still a good fighter but fighting like he did today will only give him brain damage and no glory.

Badr is in my eyes a top 3 K-1 fighter now, he is so talented, KO power, fast and very technicall, Badr VS Semmy must happen soon!
( Badr vs glaube or JLB would be great too)..

Musashi vs Sawayashiki, i dont see this as a big win for Musashi, rember how Aerts crushed Sawayashiki in the finals, that proves in my eyes that Sawayashiki aint a top fighter, also this fight reflects that Musashi aint a top fighter either anymore.

Feitosa vs Roberts
Glaube is AMAZING, what a fighter, i wish i could do those kicks that he does, just amazing. also Fun to see a "new" american in K-1, thats very important if K-1 is to get a good fot in the US.

Noda vs Vondracek: i agree with you here aswell Chrzan, good exiting fight, not the most tecnical one, but in a fight like this one it dosent matter. Yes Vondracek has put on alot of BAD kilos, he used to be ripped like a bodybuiler and now he looks like he just sits in the sofa all day eating onionrings, also his stamina was apperntly weaker then one or two years ago.

Overall i think this seems to have been a rather good event, and im looking forward to the next one.

Hari's fight was awesome, the rest that I saw were disappointing. I am really starting to worry about the future of K-1 GP.

how was hunt semmy disappointing

glaube round kick head....ko....disappointing...

man what do you want...

hunt looks done to me........looks like he did not train much.......he may have the best chin...but his belly let him down...(and appears to weigh him down) ...if buakaw koed souwer or masato with a back kick like that the forum would be full of people stating how great he is.....

glaube's fight was great, but I thought it would be more of a fight
semmy/hunt was disappointing because hunt didn't get one punch in and lost by spinning back kick
Hunt looked like he didn't train at all for this fight... and he was never a fighter who trained super hard to begin with, let alone after a 5 yr layoff from k1 and a 1+ year layoff from mma.

with all the due respect, I can't help but keep staring at Vondracek - just the way he now is.
Everything points out, Schilt's reign will still last... (much to many people's disconfort and boredom, I guess). And Mushashi, a real legend in Japan, though not that appreciated elsewhere, has proved to keep his balance around his own personal top (not to discard either as a box-office attraction)

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
