POLL: Winner of Barry v Samedov?
i gave the first round to samedov, the second and
third to barry... most of the press corp agreed,
how did you see it?

I thought the first round was even, the second and
third to barry.

First round to Samedov. In second , Barry was more
activity but in third - Zabit gave more punch and I
agree with decision. However - it was a draw fight.

I agree with Pathologist - first round to Samedov
but second and third rounds to Barry. Barry was
obviously in command, especially in third round.
What was Judge Shirley thinking? Or what fight was
he watching????????

In the first Zabit seemed better and more accurate,
but in second and third Barry's lowkicks made
Samedov passive. The fight should have gone to
Barry.

Like the flash, glitz and glam of Vegas, I think
the judges play into the hype and reward fighters
for showboating and cockiness, where sometimes the
true talent is overlooked or not properly
considered. I believe that this was the case in the
Barry v. Samedov fight. I was there and witnessed
the fight first hand and let me tell you Samedov
could barely walk after the night was over and
Barry was unscathed. Barry hit Samedov with a ton
of uncontested leg kicks (especially round 3) and
your going to tell me that Judge Shirley did not
award one single round to Pat!? Shirley must have
only been judging by how many times Samedov dropped
his gloves and gloated! If this were the case, then
absolutely Samedov won all three rounds. This
isn't a fashion show or drama class - it's
K-1, where your performance in the ring should be
the only thing that is judged. 1st round to
Samedov. Rounds 2-3 to Barry. Sorry for the rant,
but I was shocked and appalled at the lack of
judging competency!

I agree, Barry won the fight. Samedov's shots
were better IMO, but Barry did more damage with
the leg kicks in rd 3. Why was Zabit all mad at
Barry in rd.3 after he kicked him in the knees from
behind? Was it because his back was turned?

Multiple times the ref told both Barry and Samedov
to fight out of the hold. After one of the breaks
in the 3rd round, Patrick fought cleanly out the
hold, but Samedov had turned his back, when in fact
the ref never called a stop in the action. Patrick
was tired of Samedov stopping to showboat to the
crowd in the middle of the fight, so he did what
any of us would have done and that's fight
until the ref called an official break. Samedov got
mad, but it was a clean move by Barry.

no meen zabit was better patric barry was not that
goog this time he did nothing absolutly nothing.
