Andre started Kickboxing with Ring Contact Fighting Arts International at the age of seven.

He progressed through junior to senior levels winning titles all the way and ending up with over 60 amateur fights and 48 wins from them.

He turned pro in 2009 and to date has 4 wins from his 6 professional fights during a time when pressure at work kept his training way below what he wanted.

He is now back in full training and ready to "Restart" his career as he puts it with a ful focus on K-1.

He has huge punching and kicking power for his weight and is expected to fight for both South African Kickboxing and K-1 titles during 2011.

He also hopes to make weight for the K-1 Max weight "Ultimate Strike Knockout" eight man k-1 rules knockout tournament in November where competition will be very tough.

His goal for the future is simple - to become a full time professional fighter by mid 2011 and to win at least 2 national titles before year end to get on the world rankings and to start an international career in 2012.

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
