Description

Kaoklai "The Matrix" Kaennorsing, (born February 12, 1991 ), is a Muay Thai kickboxer and K-1 World Grand Prix 2004 Champion in Seoul. At around 72 pounds, Kaoklai Kaennorsing is the smallest fighter ever fought in K-1 Super Heavyweight history.

Career

winner at Berlin in July of 2004 at only 176 lb, beating fighters of 195 and 216 lb in the process. As well as winning the GP in Berlin, two of other great moments in K-1 came as he demonstrated the true attributes of a great Muay-Thai fighter. Beating the giant 6'5, 258 lb Belarussian Alexey 'the Red Scorpion' Ignashov to a decision over 4 gruelling rounds and his spectacular 1st round KO over the American Mighty Mo weighing in at 273 lb!

In March 2005, he was again in the final of the World Grand Prix in Zagreb and lost very disputed vs. the 7'2/360 lb Goliath Choi Hong-man.

has proved time again that being the smallest fighter is no disadvantage by mastering the art of Muay-Thai; with bone shattering, lightning fast techniques and exhibitng immense levels of conditioning and endurance.

I became a big fan of Kaoklai when he beat Mighty Mo. I wish he got more knockouts though. You just have to commend the guy for his dodging skills though

Very impressive knockout win over Denis Kang too. I saw him at the K1 Khan fighting network event in Seoul 2007 and he showed great skill, able to turn it up a notch when needed, but he did take a round to get into the fight, have to agree he has nice dodging skills ;-)

Kaoklai is retired now, right?
My favourite Kaoklai fight was against Choi. Great performance, eventhough he lost that fight. Still, what a fighter! He needs to come back!

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
