Kimo's fighting style is best described as freestyle, with a mixture of boxing and grappling techniques. He was erroneously credited with a black belt in Tae Kwon Do in his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut at UFC3 tournament carrying a large cross on his back, and for his Christian mindset and (He later admitted to lying in order to be granted the opportunity to fight). Kimo is well known for entering the UFC3 tattoos. His manager, Joe Son, also carried a giant cross to the ring in his fights.


Kimo Leopoldo was born January 4th, 1968 is a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter, often billed as simply Kimo, who was born in Munich, Germany and fights out of Hawaii, USA He made his MMA debut at UFC3 in 1994, and continues to fight today.

K-1 career

Kimo has never tasted victory in the K-1 ring in his short three fight participation in the orginization. Losing by KO to both Hiromi Amada and Masaki Satake, then losing to Bob Sapp by TKO in an famous fight.
