@Cerebel the new and improved Overeem :)

Slimmer leaner Smarter better technique and better footwork also uses his kicks again and his athleticism !

kind of how he was at Lhw but with a more diverse arsenal of kicks

Of course his Jaw is still suspect

@Rishi Oh man! U know I always appreciate your comments and opinions, but this time I disagree.
I 've seen Overeem being less effective and afraid against an opponent which is not a beast like Valasquez or Dos Santos or Werdum. I 've seen lack of self confidence as well. I've seen a fighter who lost his mojo. But maybe I am wrong.

@Cerebel No problem everybody has the right to his opinion ..you cant always agree (lol)

I guess some people call it scared or afraid ..but nah me personally have to disagree on that ..yeah maybe if you compare him with 3 years ago ,.he fought different back then more in a BULLY way cornering his opponents and finishing them with a hospital knee and a simple right hand ...

But reality is that in the ufc he cant fight like that ..fighters are used to more and are able to endure and survive ..Roy is a great example of a guy who only possess a strong right hand .. .and a decent ground game his appearance may make you love him or hate him Overeem played it smart and kicked the pace out of nelsons body ..and while doing that he tried to keep the brawling and punch trading at a minimum ,,And yes that seems as being afraid but i consider that smart ..specially if you fighting a guy who,s game plan is pinning you on one spot and punch till one of you goes down

the turning his back and running away is dumb do it looks stupid and is also dangerous
he,s lucky that kicks to the back and spine are forbidden !!!

As far as his confidence goes well maybe your right ..but the only way to rebuild that is to get a win streak on and then his confidence will also come back ..i think being careful and realizing that with small gloves a fight can be over in a second is just part of his new approach of his fights but again the more he wins the sooner his confidence comes back ..

But i agree if he wants to stay on people,s mind he needs to start KNOCKING people out again (lol) and i bet ya he will get his mojo back again haha and besides that his mojo has been gone since bf crushed it ..

Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter?
