Just watched the fight between Zommerman and Verhoeven. Was an interesting fight.

Anyone knows what happened with Zimmerman. Did he break his knee ... or was he faking? ;-)

@D-rop Well i don,t know what the "official doc decision is" but he messed up his KNEE BIG TIME
he went for a Spinning back kick (witch he did totally wrong) He used weak foot work when he trow it and by doing so dislocated his knee ...

In all dutch martial arts outlets they say he injured his knee (but there is no further Info)

Just that people where amazed of stupidness when the ref gave him 8 counts ... It was clear the fight was all ready over as soon as he messed up his knee !

so the choice for the 8 counts was kind of strange (considering a medical intervention was in place to)

I don't remember seeing him throw a single spinning back kick ever. What in the world possessed him to that now?

@stark LoL

That was exactly my reaction when i saw him doing that !

i Though WTF Zimmerman you don,t have a decent karate or teakwondo background or the FOOTWORK to do a Move like that .

I guess he wanted to be spectacular for the fans !

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter?
