@Cdn Mongoose Top that K1 is as death as can be kickboxing is just DEATH :(

After k1 kick-boxing slowly started bleeding with big names retiring going over sea
a couple of names decided to go to Dubai and fight no body,s for BIG MONEY !

Glory is (was) suppose to take over the u.s.a besides all the fighters saying YEAH we taking over the states i don,t really see anything happening they had a good start but now with events being canceled and i have read article,s about not so many ppv buys and empty seats :( that is not good .

Also the fact that one of their biggest names is not under contract anymore kind of worries me i,m talking about saki ...

Spong i can understand since he is still recovering from his leg break but SAKI your Champ i mean why in hell is your champ not under contract with you anymore :(

Don,t get me wrong i really hope that kickboxing survives specially for the younger fighters and the lighter weight classes because in that division the best techniques are shown

Yeah, this would have been great news like many years ago. A great fighter.
Everybody wanted to see Yodsanklai against Buakaw, and we still want to see that fight. But now Buakaw has left K-1, and Yod is contracted ... duh.

exactly if anything they should try to promote pure muay thai more to the people
not just in Asian country,s it still amazes me muay -thai is so known over the world
so many movie,s made about the art ..

Yet i have never seen a good big promotion in EU or the states make a event with the TOP muay thai names on it those muay thai fighters also deserve the big money (like kickboxers and mma fighters are getting)

Imagine a event with names as Yodsanklai baukaw Kongjak Singmanee Kaew Fairtex
or Lumpinee stadium fighters kaoklai and the list go on imagine them on one card fighting in a good promoted event

@Rishi You have Topking world series. It's excellent muaythai promotrion. It's 16 fighter tournament spread over 3 or 4 events. First two were held in Belarus and France. Third is in Hong kong. It includes some of the top names in muaythai like Buakaw, Steve Moxon, Andrei Kulebin, Reece McAlister, Marat Grigorian...
You should check it out

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
