Glory World Series Final 16 *Results*

from Liverkick.com, by Rian Scalia

70kg Final 16:

Shemsi Beqiri def. Yoshihiro Sato by split decision. Awesome, action packed fight.

Tim Thomas def. Dennis Schneidmiller by unanimous decision.

Robin van Roosmalen def. Dzhabar Askerov by unanimous decision. Another insane fight.

David Kyria def. Kem Sitsongpeenong by unanimous decision. Should've gone to an extra round.

Ky Hollenbeck def. Michael Corley by TKO (Ref Stoppage) in Round 1.

Sanny Dahlbeck def. Warren Stevelmans by unanimous decision. Another action packed, crazy fight.

Albert Kraus def. Mohammed El Mir by unanimous decision.

Giorgio Petrosyan def. Fabio Pinca by unanimous decision. Very good, tactital fight. Pinca was competitive.

-76kg Super Fight:

Nieky Holzken def. Alex Harris by TKO (3 Knockdowns/Liver shots). Harris was winning but Holzken found the mark with a liver shot, dropping Harris and then did it twice more to get the TKO.

HW Super Fight:

Gokhan Saki def. Carter Williams by KO (Left Hook). Williams was hurt from a previous accidental low blow but was definitely hurt from the punch.

GLORY Heavyweight Title Fight:

Semmy Schilt def. Errol Zimmerman by TKO (Corner Threw In Towel) in Round 3. Semmy dominated Errol for the whole fight.

Good start for the Glory world series. I think it was a high level production and seemed like a very professional event. They have come a long way since the first Glory events. The ring looked very nice also. Now, if K-1 can deliver tonight we have the ultimate fight weekend....

I watched Schilt vs Zimmerman live. Semmy destroyed him. Errol was helpless from bigining till the end

Zimmerman should have trained more... he looks little bit lazy, just like me after a T-Bone Steak...

awesome event. fights are all up on http://fightnext.com/< /a> I liked this event better overall than the K-1 rising. Better commentators and I liked the way they show the judges scores after each round. The 3 second clinch rule is way better than the K-1 way. Great weekend for fight sports with this, the K-1 and UFC :-) http://fightnext.com/ I liked this event better overall than the K-1 rising. Great event and a big thank you to all the people who made it possible. Personally I enjoyed the fight Warren Stevelmans vs Sanny Dahlbeck the most, probably because Sanny is one of the bigger hopes of Sweden and is an incredible nice guy ;) Here is the fightreport by our dear friend Daniel Hol

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
