not really a superb fight of both. quite evenly matched. should have been an extra round. both looked very sloppy and too much huffin n puffin starting with the 2nd round. i would have expected more of hesdy gerges. maybe it's the so called ringrust ;-)

Big win for Verhoeven, but not the best performance from either fighter. They both lacked determination. Eventhough Verhoeven seemed somewhat fired up he choose to clinch a lot, just like Gerges, making this fight less attractive then it should have been.
I thought there was gonna be an extra round, plus I had Gerges scoring a bit more. Verhoeven however was the agressor this fight and perhaps that gave him the win.
Too bad there were no elbows allowed, that much clinching begs for some nasty elbows :P
Call me a sucka but I'm still hoping Verhoeven to grow as a fighter and become the fighter he should be, looking at his bodyframe. This guy needs a new trainer or something...maybe Mike's Gym to give him some fire up his ass ;)

A big win for Verhoeven. Lots of people predicted an easy win for Gerges.
Not a very exciting fight. I didn't want to see an extra round of this brawl, but Gerges deserved one.
