SuperKombat World GP 2 *RESULTS*
Today (July 16, 2011) in Romania, Super Kombat held their second Grand Prix event of the year, featuring some great match-ups and interesting fights. Here are the results:
Heavyweight tournament Reserve Fight: Carter Williams defeats Marian Iordan by TKO (Low Kick) in Round 3.
Heavyweight Tournament Semi Final Fight: Ismael Londt defeats Sebastien Ciobanu by KO (Punches) in Round 3
Heavyweight Tournamet Semi Final Fight: Mladen Brestovac defeats Mighty Mo by KO (Liver Kick) in Round 1.
-73kg Super Fight: Mihai Barbu defeats Alex Tropimov by Unanimous Decision over 3 rounds.
Wako-Pro -88.68kg Intercontinental Title Match: Hakan Aksoy defeats Bogdan Stoica by TKO (Injury) in Round 2.
-92kg Super Fight: Andrei Stoica defeats Henriques Zowa by Unanimous Decision over 3 rounds.
Heavyweight Super Fight: Benjamin Adegbuyi defeats Joachim Thomas by Unanimous Decision over 3 rounds.
Heavyweight Super Fight: Catalin Morosanu defeats Stefan Leko by Unanimous Decision over 3 rounds.
Heavyweight Tournament Final: Ismael Londt defeats Mladen Brestovac by TKO in Round 1. Ismael Londt wins the Super Kombat World Grand Prix II Heavyweight Tournament.
Great event, and an outstanding and visionary
effort by the organization. The fights - I'll
comment when I see them.
I just wonder - how the Romanians can afford having
fighters from overseas and really deserve to call
the event "WGP" and IS can't? Besides, the main
prize is from Mitsubishi - some cash+Ralliart
Racer, and they had Brad Vee Johnson as announcer.

I watched it on Eurosport, and it really was a
great event, the best I have seen from Supercombat
so far....
