K-1's hidden treasures - could you be the next champion?

K-1

As a part of K-1's relaunch this year, K-1 has launched their "Hidden Treasures" initiative. It is K-1's way of utilizing social media to help them do the dirty work of scouting talent around the globe. They are looking for the next big talent in the world to join K-1 and have decided to skip the usual rigors of talent scouting and go right to the internet for help.

So far they have created two pages for the search, a Heavyweight page and a MAX 70kgs page.

They are looking for you, the unknown fighter to give them your personal information and a video so that you can be properly scouted by them.

If you are a talented Heavyweight or Middleweight, head over to one of the two pages, "Like" it and post your details.

Heavyweight: http://www.facebook.com/K1treasures.WGP

Middleweight: http://www.facebook.com/K1treasures.70kg

Don't forget that they are looking for 63kg fighters as well,

@Mitko J. why not? think of the ufc try outs, even k-1 did this a few years ago. it can work out but it has to be organized well. could end up in the tuk1f (the ultimate k1 fighter ;)

i think it s a nice idea i was going on and on about refreshments and it s cool but its international right? I like the fighters we could see in K-1 and in Holland in the same time, but now, as the "young" Badr is also over 25 i think it s cool to look for new talents. And yes, they will not ask for much salary :D:D at least not in the beginning

Hmmm, they just might pull it off...

And the lucky winner gets to be beaten properly by the likes of Overeem, Hari, or Aerts...:)

Man, it`s really mesmerizing. Makes me want to go to the gym 6 times a week. And if I am really lucky I get to be humiliated by a real fighter..... yuppi!

i have checked it through they are some promising fighters. I watched the doc on the first 4 they are interested in, i see they want someone brutal and who likes to kick. One Argentinian they would like to choose though is already 36. dont you think an age limit would do? but Anyways Branko was the oldest champ so anything can happen :)

PS: what stroke me is it was written in the instructions, how each fighter would apply, with enlisting his data and with a clip but so many didnt even care about it ..

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
