Results United Glory 2nd Round Belgium

source: Liverkick.com

United Glory hosted the semi-final rounds of their World Series of Kickboxing and MMA tournaments this weekend.  On the kickboxing side of things, in the first semi-final, JLB teammate Brice Guidon defeated Mourad Bouzidi via KO in the 2nd round.  I have not yet found any footage from this fight, but it's an impressive win as Bouzidi is both a solid fighter and very tough to stop. In semi-final #2, tournament favorite Gokhan Saki  took a unanimous decision win over Wendell Roche.  Another powerful, leg kick heavy performance from Saki in this one, although Roche put up a game fight, particularly in the 3rd round.  With those wins, the final is set: Gokhan Saki vs. Brice Guidon.  That is scheduled from some time in May, though could very easily be delayed.  Saki will remain the favorite, but Guidon is a tough fighter, with a 2010 win over top 10 Hesdy Gerges.  He'll definitely make this a good final, and has it in him to pull off the upset.

Only partial results are available for the rest of the card, as United Glory is known to shuffle their line-ups considerably at the very last minute.

Yes Torazulu I do have good nose to see who is good and promising fighter well i ve been trying to catch them for years now haha.
The bad thing is that Brice, doesnt get too much chance by It s Showtime or any Holland promoters (perhaps because he s French ?) and little do we know about his other fights in France. It s been a while i talked with him, but last time he wrote me, he neither doesnt know why they dont put him into more fights..
I think he should have fought against Badr Hari, not that other guy... So i really hope the best for him.

D rop dont forget Guidon won over both Bouzidi and Gerges last year.. he could be the next Nr. 1 heavyweight fighter in Holland... I think this is exactly why It s Showtime doesnt put him into most of his events... they want Dutch or Dutch raised champ. And of course maybe i m wrong.. only i find no other explanation. And dont think i m riding on nationality stuff. All i mean, that his fanbase in Holland is not thick being a French. They earn more with Badr or Gerges anyone who have good strong fanbase there in Holland.

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
