Strikeforce and UFC

Life writes best novels...Like this Dana White`s interview...

I watched it carefully, and it completed the picture. This purchase can be a good news in disquise...

Dana doesnt seem confortable at all, or happy or gloating, which is so him.

Instead, he seem a bit nervous.

Trick is The Zuffa bought Strikeforce, not Dana White. He is a Co-Owner of Zuffa with 9% of the shares, (Fertitta brothers 81%, and some Abu-Dhabi guys 10%..

And Zuffa bought Strikeforce , with Scott Coker as a Chairman, and a stockholder.

Top management is a bitch, and although Mr. White likes to think about himself as an inventor of MMA, he would do nothing without Las Vegas money, coming from Fertittas.

Scott Coker had far less resources, but he managed to build and maintain Strikeforce as a worlds No.2 promotion. He also did it in a proffesional manner , not making a show out of himself, and without getting any negative publicity. He proved himself as a capable negotiator, both in Co-promoting and closing TV-deals.Dont think for a second that it goes unnoticed.Someone is already wondering "Hey, if this guy pulled it out, imagine what he could do, if he had the money!"

My point is , that I would not be too suprised (in fact I would do that for sure, if I was in charge), that Coker not only stays with Zuffa, but possibly gets a role that Dana has today. He proved succesful, he is not nearly as annoying, no one hates him, and he can do the work maybe even better without all the fuss Dana makes.

Or perhaps, let the two of them compete uder same parent company?Best man gets to be the boss?Healthy rivalry...

This is a really long shot, but if I am proven right I expect to get that Eternal Respect prize , that closely missed me last year...:)

P.S. I am fully aware that this is not about K1, but this season seems to be dry...

Interesting point.
Although I am not one of them, there are lots of Dana White-haters, so it could be a very good thing.

I don't remember you were thát close to that ER-prize last year;), but if you turn out to be right on this one, I will nominate you for this year's prize.

Nice point .

Dana white aint the BIG BOSS .But stil i dont trust it.
i enjoy watching woman,s mma and we al know dana dus not like the idea of it .
So whats gonna happen with that .Lets look at it in a Posetive way
maybe we wil see Allistair fighting guys like Brock and cain now.
If dana dus not make sum kind of stupid rule or demant .
But lookin back at all the trash dana said about strikeforce
and fighters fighting for them .kinda disapears now becaue his bosses
decided to buy strikeforce before it gets to big on his own .
Cus there aint no way of buying scot coker out if he is all ready on top .
Now they don,t have to worry if guys like brock and cain lose now .
they can say yeah but Allistair is ouir champ cus he is fighting unders ufc to ,
since we own strikeforce.on the other hand Fuck all the politics and lets enjoy all off the super fights comming out .I sure hope its gonna be like a Strikeforce vs ufc type of
orrganisation cus it would suck big time if they merged everything into the ufc .

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
