The card for the upcoming June 2nd, Dynamite USA event that will he be held at the Los Angeles Coliseum, has been released by FEG, the parent company of K-1 Hero's, and Showtime.

The press release that was posted on Royce Gracie's official website, announced that the Ultimate Fighting Championship legend himself will take on Japanese super-star Kazushi Sakuraba in the co-main event. This of course will be the second time the two veteran fighters will meet, as in 2000, they engaged in an historic hour and half long battle that saw Sakuraba walk away the victor at that year's Pride Grand-Prix.  Sakuraba is coming off an armbar submission win at K-1 Hero's in March over Yuri Kiselov, and has not lost now in five fights, a streak dating back to 2005. The Japanese fighter has had some significant injuries during this stretch however, and will have to pass the California State Athletic Commission's medical examiners before being cleared to fight. Gracie has not competed since May of last year, when he was stopped by then UFC welterweight champ Matt Hughes in the first round, handing Gracie his second professional loss.

The card's other main event will see Brock Lesnar taking on Hong Man Choi, a fight that had already been previously announced by the organization. Choi, is a K-1 veteran and will look to spoil the MMA debut of the former professional and collegiate wrestling star Lesnar.

Also confirmed for the card, vaunted Dutch striker and Hero's veteran Melvin Manhoef will fight 's Dong Sik Yoon, Javier Vasquez will meet 's Katsuhiko Nagata, K-1 star Might Mo will face off against Mu Bae Choi, and English fighter Brad Pickett will fight Hideo Tokoro. The release also stated that Johnny Morton, JZ Calvacante and Antonio Silva are also scheduled to compete however no opponents for the fighters have yet been confirmed.

In keeping with the partnership between Hero's and Elite XC, two of the latter promotion's fighters will participate on the June 2nd card. Highly regarded welterweight Jake Shields will fight Ido Pariante while Gina Carano is set to meet Jann Finney.

The event's first three fights will be broadcast on the Showtime Network, while the latter portion of the card will be shown via pay-per-view.

I agree Daniel, Manhoef's fight looks like a typical hero's match(good fighter vs total can). To be honest these matches all look boring on paper, except for Saku vs Royce 2. Hopefully they are not too over the hill and will give a great fight.

I haven't seen seen Hong in a MMA fight. But i guess his hight advantage will be useless once he's on the ground. Kind of like Semmy was once.

i think it feels like Royce is over the hill, i think it was kind of clear in the fight with Matt hughes in UFC that his prime days are over, never the less he is still a great fighter, but i think his glorydays are over.

you are right his days have gone and his style is all ready clear to everybody.. maybe now he trained and learned how to use his fists and ligs to strike insted of submission Techniques.

wow, just read that the Dynamite show is in trouble. They have not been granted a license yet -it´s less than 10 days!? And the only fighter of the 22 that is cleared to figh is Brock Lesnar. How is this possible?

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
