it is not easy to pick only one. Gökhan saki, hesdy Gerges and Peter Aerts. The first two because of their achievements this year and peter because of sympahty.

Nevertheless i chose HESDY GERGES. You just can´t ignore his his wins over the last and this year.
-win over Karaev; he simply destroyed him, it was more fascinating than see karaev being koed. In my view it was even more dominating than Badr hari´s Ko over karaev in december.
-win over Slowinsky which also was a solid win.
- win over Ashwin Balrak, which really shows that hesdy is a fighterheart because it is not easy to win against him.
- win over BADR HARI!!; although it was DQ, he hold his own against and fought back. You could really see how good his chin was in this fight
-lost to Semmy is another point speeking for his abilities. he only prepared one week for semmy and showed his heart and huge taking abilitiy... Imagine how it would be if he prepared like against Badr.

Come on Guys vote for him he really really deseves it!!

Just voted for Aerts. He`ll won`t be around here for long I`m afraid, so he deserves one last shot :)

Mr Critical made a great case for Gerges, but I had to go with Aerts. He deserves one more appearance.

@stark OK thanks.
I voted for Saki on the english site and for Gerges (the 2nd in the line) on the Japanese site.

I would like to see Aerts, but I am afraid he will be destroyed again and maybe really damaged.

I had to go with Aerts here , but I will give one to Catinas also from a different comp, and Gerges one from the laptop.Somehow, I suspect that Jaideep and Sato will be the fan favorites anyway...

@stark The only thing that Sato has ever done to deserve a place in the Final 16 is being born in Japan ...:)

No Ray Sefo? Bah, thats unfair.

I´ll go with Aerts then (and i would´ve anyway) - one last try for the lumberjack - but i symphatize with Mr. Critical and i think Gerges is probably the most desrving of this among the new fighters. At least he is the biggest hope among them to beat Schilt or Hari.

As an Ignashov fan i might put my second vote on him though. He is a K-1 legend and he could be a very interesting "familiar face" to see in this years finals.

I wonder though if it´s good to vote for Aerts. I mean the guy is old (40?) and he is the kind of fighter who could really get hurt.

Bah, If that is the case we might all drop out from voting.I am imagining Takumi Sato and Patrice Quarteron sitting night and day at their computers voting...I tried again today but i cannot vote again.Maybe because I have fixed IP address...

Voting many times might not be much more efficient than voting one time though (unless you vote a couple thousand times). After all it´s the common opinion that decides these things isn´t it... not what one guy happens to think.

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
