FOK1 Exclusive PART 2: Ernesto Hoost interview@ It's Showtime Barneveld

Part 2 of the Fans of K1 backstage report from the It's Showtime event in Barneveld 21-11-09.

This is the second video from our backstage report. We caught up with Mr. Perfect himself, Ernesto Hoost. We asked what it was like to be in the organization instead of in the ring, we talked about "attractive fighting", his students Spong and Slowinski ...and we find out Hoost's personal reason to turn down the fight with Badr Hari.

Oh and be sure to watch the final seconds :P

We hope you enjoy it! And of course all feedback is more than welcome.

Janine & Rob

Thanks, this was fantastic exclusive stuff with one of the greatest names of K-1.

Your interview was really professional, Rob. It looked like you do this very often.

Thank you very much for this nice interview.I dont know what type of camera you were using, but if it has a separate Mic connector it would help eliminate background noise. It is one more piece of equipment to carry but it goes a long way in improving the interview.I am not complaining, just a suggestion...

@Torazula
Trust me, I know;-) And we really wanted one, but we couldn't find any. Just as we'd like to have a better camera. But since we needed to translate everything and use subtitles, we agreed it would be fine for now. We got this invite on two weeks notice. Hopefully we can get some better equipment for our next report! There were so many soundclips which were awesome, mostly entrances of fighters. But the mic couldn't handle it.

Thnx for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Great report guys. I think that it shows that making a great FansOfK1 video is not so much about cameras and such, just being interested in K-1 along with some editing talents.

Keep it comming!

glad
Thnx Dennis and everyone else of course! It's fun to do and we had a great time making the report. Looking forward to the next event!
I just hope that somehow we're able to get better equipment for our Amsterdam ArenA report. In the end it's all about what you see and what they say, but if it's also in high quality...it can just make that little difference.

I'm now working on a video with Chahid and Mourad getting ready for their fight and doing an pre-fight interview with us. And after that there will be a video of Murat Direkçi with some good footage and of course and a postfight interview :)

We do hope to get more questions from the users here at FOK1. As you can see we are able to get them in front of the camera, so these reports are your opportunity to get the answers you want. ...just as long those questions don't get us killed ;-)

Thanks to both of you guys for making this, very interesting to watch. I was wondering myself about the Badr vs Hoost fight. I'm also guessing from his speech that Paul Slowinski isn't ready for anything big yet.

Thanks again, very nice!

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
