Question: in the 16 there were some dangerous scenes with Gita. what do you think about it?
Semmy: I couldn't move as I wanted to in the first but as the engine started to pump I could move as I thought to.
Q:Looks as Gita got more support from Korean fans.
S: I don't know how to put but I think my Korean fans have increased...
Q:This year you want to bring back the title, any changing mind?
S: I have not changed my mind about it. Defeating Gita made it closer to it.
Q: In the draw why did you choose Banner?
S: I thought better to choose than being chosen... when not knowing who to fight then it would be better to choose rather than chosen....
Q:is it easier to choose mentally?
S:I was the 6th. I barely had a choice to choose anyone. In the other way round as well, I was chosen even when I was the 1st one drew so anyway it's the same. (laugh)
Q: Although I thought you would pick the second match to revenge Badr in the semi-final.
S: it would be better in the final. if he wants too, it will be there.
Q: Do you not want?
S: this is a tournament. you can't choose to fight. it's not one match event. if we face each other in the fianl, it is a destiny. if not, one match will do.
Q: if you could choose, who would you pick?
S: everyone says 'if', but I don't think there is 'if'. even I think some one is ok but in the draw everything is upside down so no need to guess. meaningless.
Alistar's tactics can be used
Q: do you think you are in a harder section?
S: not specially..... even now I am confident enough to be the king.
Q: no one especially you want to fight?
S: hit enough to defeat the opponent. that's it.
Q: if you win this year again, K-1 may not want you in next year?
S: I think about this year. I don't think about next year.
Q: Peter has lost to Alistar. any comments?
S: Peter couldn't deal with Alistar's style. If Alistar & I fight in the same way they did, K-1 might change the rule so no one can throw.
Q: what is your thought about mma fighter in the final 8 being as a K-1 fighter like Aerts?
S: ............ I am from mma too. i will tell you if I can use Alistar's tactics as well.
Q: very impressive comment. Alistar said that he will win the WGP & go back to mma next year. K-1 is in danger.
S: this year he won't.
it doens't matter where you are from
Q: you are K-1 WGP winner as well as a mma fighter so complicated situation for you?
S: it's different. K-1 fans can be mma fans and the other way round. it doesn't matter where you are from. It matters how popular you are is important.
Q: you are in the middle of mma & k-1.
S: yeah. that's right. I am praying for more fans for both & hopefully more fans who support me too (luagh)
