ASKEROV GETS A SECOND CHANCE IN THE K-1
Rumble Management succeeded to get Askerov a second chance in K-1
After 4 years of waiting Dzhabar "The Genghis Khan" Askerov eventually got his chance to fight in Japan. Dzabar Askerov lost his K-1 Max Japan debut against Gevorg Petrosian in the K-1 Max Final 16 event, april 21th 2009 in Fukuoka.

Now he has another chance in the K-1 Max Final 8, Tokyo, to again prove if he really belongs in the K-1 or not. If he wins this match he can get another one, where a profit will lead to a contract. But if he would lose this match, the dream of Japan can be over at the 13 July.

I'm glad he is back, he is a KO fighter and
does not hold back at all!
Thanks for translating and posting Kim. Good news, I think Askerov can do very well in K-1. And I agree with what Eldarbong said.
great to hear that Askerov gets a second chans, i
hope he does the most of it, and good work with the
translation Kim.
That sounds as ood news to me, 'cause I usually
enjoy Askerov's fights, he's got enough
spirit, outstanding skills, nice endurance and
toughness also; in short, he can add some
excitement to this event, and I hope he takes
advantage of this new opportunity
i see and it is only my opinion Askerov has the
charisma , his technique is quite alright, but
would need still a bit of refining, as i see he is
not too keen on using his legs, as I see his
tactique is to let the opponent hit him when the
fight starts, then wanting to regain control is a
bit of a two-bladed weapon. I loved to see this
fight with Petrosyan, I'm sorry to say he
couldnt do nothing against him, that guy is really
really good. But as i see Askerov is still young so
he can get anywhere, he's got the talent ,
wishing him all the best in Jamaica.
