Yod scores a "Diamond" Scalp

Stops Malaipet in Round 3 via cuts as Quatteron destorys Rick Cheek!

As expected Yodseanklai Fairtex in dominant and ruthlessly efficient manner, stopped Malaipet the "Diamond" to retain his WBC Muay Thai world title in Jamaica on the Dennis Warner main event. It was one way traffic, as shot after shot went unanswered.

A messy face of Maliapet summing up the night and in the end an elbow did the trick, with referee stopping the fight.

From the word go Yod was on the front foot forcing Malaipet to move backwards. His powerful punches and kicks, followed by elbows which were hitting the mark completely rattled and out classed his fellow countryman. Mercifully as the cut above "Diamond's" eye became nasty and his face resembled Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed put togeather, the contest was halted-- rightly so before anything worse could have happened. In all honesty it was billed as a match you couldn't miss only to end up a miss match!

On a more explosive note, Knock Out Artist from France Patrice Quatteron demolished rated USA armed forces champ Rick Cheek to complete his prediction of a "PQ". The fight was halted at two minutes into the first round with a savage assault on the name sake by Patrice, who was relentless and reined thunderbolts for two minutes. Most observers talked up Cheek's obvious experience to completely overwhelm PQ-- but what was witnessed was a complete opposite!

Julie Kitchen went the distance with Germaine De Randamie, only to lose unanimously as the closest fight of the night was Kaoklai Kannorasingh edging out Clifton Brown in a split decision. All in all it was a stunning affair in the tax haven of the Caribbean, with one the greatest Muay Thai cards ever seen!

The best K-1 community online!

The focus is on building a community that offers more to the users than any other K-1 website. The focus is also on that the community should be totally user driven, with the users as main writers of content. Who would for example write a better fight report than a fan who actually was at the fight? Or who could write a more interesting fighter profile than the fan who loves and really knows about a fighter? We believe that this approach will lead to that fansofk1.com has the most interesting K-1 information.
